Prof Ron Grunstein
Professor Ron Grunstein has been a consultant physician in sleep medicine for over 30 years and a pioneer in improving patient care in sleep disorders in Australia and internationally. He is currently an NHMRC Investigator Award recipient (Leadership Level 3), and Professor of Sleep Medicine at the University of Sydney and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney. Ron heads the Sleep and Circadian Research Group at the Woolcock Institute. He is CI on both the National Centre for Sleep Health Services Research – Positioning Primary Care at the Centre of Sleep Health Management and the Centre of Research Excellence to Optimise Sleep in Brain Ageing and Neurodegeneration (CogSleep). He has published over 360 peer reviewed articles in sleep research and 40 book chapters.
