Dr Lewin Small is a research fellow in the School of Life and Environmental Sciences at The University of Sydney. His research is focused on the influence of environmental factors such as diet, time-of-day, season and temperature on whole-body energy metabolism and insulin action. He utilises omics technologies (proteomics, metabolomics, RNA-seq) to answer questions about the molecular mechanisms that enable us to adapt to different environmental stimuli.
