|Dates||20-21 November 2014|
|Overview||Bariatric Surgery is a constantly changing specialty, evolving as our understanding of the disease of obesity improves. We recognise that multidisciplinary care with a team approach to a patient is critical if we are going to provide our patients with their best chance of success after surgery.
This OSSANZ programme will consist of a series of workshops – focusing on finding solutions to problems we commonly encounter in our daily practices. Each day will have separate streams for special interest groups with a common session providing opportunity for cross discipline interaction and learning. The programme has been designed by Committee members all in different professions including nursing, dietetics, psychology, bariatric physician and surgeons.
