The Australian and New Zealand Obesity Society (ANZOS) takes great pleasure in inviting you to attend the 2011 ANZOS Annual Meeting. This year's conference theme is "The Obesity Challenge: physical, psychosocial and environmental."
The 2011 conference will take place in the beautiful city of Adelaide in the wine and festival state of Australia from October 20th to 22nd. Please visit our website www.anzos2011.com to get all the information on the 2011 event.
This event will celebrate ANZOS' 21st birthday and is designed to bring together clinicians, scientists, dieticians, researchers, psychologists, exercise physiologists, public health practitioners, guideline developers, students, educators, policy makers, administrators and patients to work toward an integrated approach to improve the management and prevention of obesity in Australasia.
We had over 400 delegates register to our 2010 conference and expect more than this to attend our 2011 meeting.
Delegates will have a chance to engage in our comprehensive three-day program that will include a dynamic mix of renowned keynote speakers, informative sessions and workshops, and an exciting gala dinner. This year's conference also includes a one-day combined meeting with the Australian Atherosclerosis Society which will address cardiovascular disease as one of the complications of obesity.
The ANZOS Annual Meeting will be the perfect conference for delegates with a genuine interest in obesity to network and share their experiences.
We look forward to welcoming you to Adelaide for what promises to be an interesting and exciting meeting.
