Elizabeth Denney-Wilson
Eliabeth Denney-Wilson is a Professor of Nursing at Sydney University. Her PhD explored the epidemiology of obesity in adolescents, but she quickly moved into prevention research. She has a long track record in developing interventions in primary care settings to encourage clinicians to intervene to in the primary and secondary prevention of obesity. She focuses on the first 2000 days and in particular infant feeding and prevention of rapid weight gain in infants. She is proud of her many PhD students who are doing great work in infant feeding, clinician education, novel interventions in PHC, mHealth, priority populations and weight management.
