Dr Adrian Sartoretto
Dr Adrian Sartoretto is a Gastroenterologist & Hepatologist with a subspecialty interest in Bariatric Endoscopy. He completed his studies at the University of Sydney in 2007 and undertook specialist physician training at Westmead Hospital before completing an Endoscopy Fellowship at Concord Repatriation General Hospital in 2015.
Dr Sartoretto is the Medical Director of The BMI Clinic and in this role has developed significant expertise in bariatric endoscopy, having completed the first Australian Endoscopic Sleeve Gastroplasty in 2016 and developing one of the largest case series in the world. Dr Sartoretto is heavily research oriented, acting as Principal Investigator in numerous translational and First in Human studies examining novel devices and endoscopic techniques for the management of obesity and diabetes
